Hey, thanks for dropping by. Im Casey Brandon Hubble. Let me tell you a few things about myself. I was born November 15, 1987, in San Antonio, Texas and lived there until age 8. I developed a love for music at an early age, writing songs as early as age 7, and I attended choir. Even though I hated choir as a kid, I still loved music. I moved to Mountain Home, Texas, when I was 8 years old and graduated from Ingram Tom Moore High School in 2006.
When I was about 12 years old and had just moved into my new house, I sat in my room and realized how bored I was, so I picked up my dads guitar. Ive always had a pretty powerful voice but I thought it was time I learned to accompany myself. My dad wrote down some basic chords for me on a sheet of paper and I have taught myself everything I know from there on. I have probably written around 150-200 songs since I learned to play my guitar, but will claim only a handful of them to save myself and others tremendous embarrassment.
In fall 2005, I accomplished my first goal of my music career, recording a CD. I titled the album Blast Away (the acoustic verses) for two reasons. The first reason is simply the first song on the CD is titled Blast Away and second, hopefully this album will help set off my career.
I spent my freshman year of college at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Loved the school, but Lubbock was not my kind of town. I am now finishing up my sophomore year at the University of Texas at Austin and trying to break into the Austin live music scene with my band, Common Complaint, which includes myself (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), my brother Joey Hubble (bass), Garrett Whitten (lead guitar), and Jonathan Shim (drums, keyboard).
Stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by!
